Applications are invited for admission into following Post Graduate Courses under the Faculty of Science, Technology & Agriculture and Faculty of Home Science in the 2011 – 2012 academic session from the 3-Years B.Sc./ B.A. Honours or its equivalent Graduates of University of Calcutta and Autonomous college(s) affiliated to CU and other Universities, graduating not earlier than 2010 except for Human Rights.
Science: (26 courses) 2-Year M.Sc./MA. Course(s): Physics, Chemistry, Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Electronic Science, Computer & Information Science, Psychology, Applied Psychology, Physiology, Biophysics Molecular Biology, Bio-informatics & Biophysics, Biotechnology, Genetics, Neuro Science Environmental Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Zoology, Botany, Applied Geology, Anthropology, Geography, Statistics, Marine Science, Atmospheric Science, , Bio-Medical Instrumentation.
Technology: (12 courses) 3-Year Post B.Sc. B. Tech. Courses: Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology (Ceramic Engg., Petrochemical & Petroleum Refinery, Oil Technology, Pharmaceutical & Fine Chemical Tech.), Polymer Science & Technology, Radiophysics & Electronics, Information Technology, Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Optics & Opto Electronics, Computer Science & Engineering.
Agriculture: (6 courses) 2 Year M.Sc. (Ag.) courses: Plant Physiology, Genetics & Plant Breeding, Horticulture, Agronomy, Seed Science & Technology, Agricultural Chemistry & Soil Science.
Home Science: (2 courses) 2 Year M.Sc. Home Science (Food & Nutrition) and (Human Development).
Human Rights: 2 year M.A. in Human Rights.
Information Brochure for admission will be available from Secretary Office, 92, A.P.C. Road, Kolkata – 700 009 (Rajabazar Sc. College) and Secretary Office 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata – 700 019 (Ballygunge Sc. College), at a price of Rs.50/-(Rupees Fifty only) from 26.07.2011 to 04.08.2011. Alternatively may be downloaded from the University Websites.
Date of online Submission of Application Form: 27.07.2011 to 04.08.2011.
Date of submission of Hardcopy of Application Forms after online submission: 27.07.2011 to 04.08.2011 on all working days between 11a.m. to 2.00p.m. and 3p,m, to 4.00p.m.

Computer will automatically generate the required number of Application Form, Hall Ticket (if applicable), Bill for total Application Fee to be deposited, receipt page etc. 5] No necessity of deposition of Application Fee in advance. First submit the Application through online.
- Before deposition of Hardcopy of Application generated by the computer, deposit the requisite application fee in cash /DD.
